
The Tyne and Wear City Region hosted this event for selected prime contractors, potential sub contractors and specialist providers for the DWP Work Programme. The event provided attendees with an opportunity to:
Meet and hear about the approach being taken by the shortlisted Prime Providers (announced on 25th November 2010) in the TWCR;
Provide partners with the chance to ask questions and seek clarification on a number of issues, which will affect delivery of the Work Programme, and;
Provide partners with an opportunity to shape the delivery of the Work Programme in this area.
Over 120 delegates attended the event, including representatives from the nine shortlisted Prime Contractors for the DWP framework for the provision of employment related support services.
